Stem Cell Treatment Eases Pain For Texoma Lawmaker

One Texoma lawmaker is using stem cell treatment to try and ease the symptoms of his multiple sclerosis.
Texas Representative Rick Hardcastle of Vernon, got his own stem cells injected after they had been treated in a lab. He said the treatment has "worked phenomenally". Representative Hardcastle has had MS for about a decade.
His treatment is similar to Texas Governor Rick Perry who used the same technique to aid in back surgery, this past summer.
The Food and Drug Administration hasn't approved using adult stem cells, but experimentation is common.
