Burkburnett Splits Pair with Amarillo Tascosa

Burkburnett and Amarillo Tascosa squared off in a basketball doubleheader Thursday night in Childress.

In the first game Tascosa handed the Lady Bulldogs a 41-27 loss. No Burkburnett player scored in double figures as the Lady Bulldogs fell to 6-6. They will host Windthorst Friday night at 6:00 p.m.

In the second game the #7 Bulldogs knocked off the Rebels 87-75 to improve to 12-1 on the season.

Mario Garcia led the way with 27 points, while Elijah Strickland added 18 and Aaron Coker scored 12.

The Bulldogs travel to Keller Friday night, with tip-off at 6:00 p.m.
