Christmas Bike Giveaway

More than 100 kids rolled away with a new bike Sunday morning.
Evangel Temple held its 5th Annual Christmas Bicycle Giveaway.
The bikes were given away at the end of the service.
This year between 100 and 125 bicycles were given away.
Last year organizers say they had a record number of children signed up, nearly 150.
This year the calls started pouring in early from parents who wanted to get their child signed up for a bicycle.
"These bikes are fitted for their size and are gender specific boy or girl," said Patti Bateman with Evangel Temple. "It's a very special day. It's a bike that is ready and prepared for them."
Aside from church members several donors stepped up to provide the bikes.
Jerry Meyers and Kell West were big sponsors.
