Huskies Rally Past Palo Duro

The Hirschi Huskies used a 17-8 fourth-quarter to beat Amarillo Palo Duro 74-61 Thursday night in the last game for both teams before Christmas break.

Terry Fields scored 26 to lead the Huskies (8-4), while Marcus Foster scored 21 and Mack Sillemon added twelve.

Hirschi trailed 55-54 through three quarters after a buzzer-beating NBA-range three-point shot by Torrence Cooper, and raced past the Dons in the final frame.

The Huskies will come back from break next Wednesday in the first game of the Caprock Holiday Classic in Lubbock, as they face El Paso Faith Christian. The Lions are undefeated and ranked #4 in the TABC Poll among small private school teams.
