Texoma Man Facing Several Charges, Including Possessing Drugs

Police say they busted a Texoma man with drugs.
Wichita Falls police first responded to a call from a drug store clerk in the 1600 block of 9th street concerning a suspicious vehicle.
When police approached the vehicle, they say Richard Burtis Alford got out of the vehicle and ran.
He was then arrested for evading detention.
Police say they also found half a gram of black tar heroin on Alford.
Police say he also lied about his name.
Alford was later identified as having two outstanding warrants out of Young County, for possession of a controlled substance.
In all, he faces five charges.
