Seymour police took a 26 year old in custody after he led them on a chase.
Police say Joshua McKinney led police on an about 20 minute vehicle pursuit around 8 pm on December 27th. The chase ended when McKinney lost control and rolled his vehicle.
Police say he then fled on foot and sometime later was arrested. Both McKinney and a female passenger were taken to Seymour Hospital and checked for injuries.
McKinney is charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury on a public servant, evading arrest/detention with a motor vehicle with previous conviction.
Police say McKinney was originally wanted for a felony warrant for robbery, and a parole violation warrant. The officer involved in the pursuit sustained injuries and was treated and released from Seymour Hospital.
