DPS: Nobody Using Baby Moses Law

New statistics are coming out for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and it shows virtually no parents are utilizing the "Baby Moses Law".

The law is meant to allow parents to give away unwanted newborns but only 50 infants have been turned over since the law went into effect in 2004.

During that time, more than 2,300 children of all ages have been abandoned and over 1,600 children have died of abuse or neglect.

The law allows parents to turn over unwanted infants under 60 days old at fire stations and hospitals.
