Wichita County Grand Jury Indicts A Man On An Evading Arrest Charge

Posted: Updated:

The Wichita County grand jury has found there was enough evidence to indict a Texoma man on two charges.
Joseph Glidewell was indicted on evading arrest/detention with a vehicle and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Deputies say Glidewell led them on a high speed chase in November.
He was arrested in Mabelle, Texas and while waiting to see a magistrate in Seymour, officials say he escaped.
Deputies say he then took a truck from the Baylor County courthouse parking lot and led them on a nine mile chase toward Abilene.
Deputies eventually shot out his tires and arrested him in Bormorton after a foot chase.
