Minor Earthquake Reported In Dallas Area

DALLAS (AP) - Experts say a minor earthquake has shaken the Dallas metropolitan area.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the 2.0 magnitude quake happened at 12:11 a.m. Friday, centered six miles north-northwest of Dallas.

No damage or injuries were immediately reported.

USGS says it's the second recorded earthquake this year in Texas.

The agency says the first quake happened Tuesday at 11:04 a.m., centered 11 miles north of Amarillo. That earthquake had a 2.8 magnitude.
