Ben Franklin Students Making Dog Toys For Humane Societies

The 4th graders worked all day Friday to bring some fun handmade toys to the dogs at the Wichita and Clay County Humane Societies.

After the students read a story about the importance of guide dogs as helpers, the students were eager to help out in their own way.

Newschannel 6 was there as the boys and girls stuffed decorated socks with tennis balls as a fun toy for dogs.
