A control burn is set for Monday morning in Lucy Park. The fire is sure to fill the skies in with smoke.
Wichita Falls Fire Chief Earl Foster says large brush piles will be burned in northeast section of the park.
City Leaders want to get the word out so police dispatch is not inundated with calls.
The brush piles are part of a clearing project to address flooding issues along the Wichita River.
The flames should be extinguished by 5:30 Monday evening.
