Texoma Woman Sentenced For Meth

Ashley Emily Payne entered a guilty plea to her charge of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

Payne was sentenced to 5 years, deferred adjudication with community supervision on top of a $750 fine.

Police responded to a call about a year ago on the 1800 block of Katherine with an arrest warrant.

On scene, police said they found Payne with a man in the driveway with meth-making materials and more than 200 grams of meth.
