Wichita County Commissioners Consider 5 Year Lease Agreements

Wichita County Commissioners will hold a special session on Tuesday at 9 a.m. to discuss a new lease agreement with Vernon College.

The lease involves the land the Wichita Jail Annex sits on and would run from Jan. 1st of this year until the end of 20-17.

Commissioners will also be looking at a TX-DOT plan to close the rest stop on I-44 near Burkburnett.  The county could take over it's maintenance if commissioners decide to do that.

Newschannel 6 will be at the meeting to let you know if any action is taken.
