MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Organizers of an effort to recall Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker say they have more than enough signatures to force an election.
Tuesday is the deadline to turn in the petitions. Organizers say they've also collected enough signatures targeting other Republicans for recall, including Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch and the Wisconsin Senate majority leader.
Recall supporters started gathering signatures two months ago, largely in reaction to a law supported by Walker last year that ended nearly all collective bargaining rights for most public workers.
