Man Charged With Burglary of A Habitation

34-year old Paul Molina Sevilla has been charged with burglary of a habitation in a case involving SWAT.

Sevilla's bond is set at $500,000.

Police have said Sevilla could face additional charges.

SWAT and negotiators cleared a house Friday on the 2100 blk. of 8th Street in Wichita Falls. Police Sergeant Joe Snyder said three adults were interviewed.  The street was blocked during the standoff.

Sgt. Snyder said at 5:39 a.m., police were called to the 2100 blk. of Avenue K, where the resident said an armed person was breaking into the home. The suspect fled before officers arrived, but the suspect's vehicle was spotted on 8th Street. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the occupants ran inside a home on the 2100 blk. of 8th Street.

Officers said there were no injuries at either location. Two children inside the house on 8th Street were released to relatives.
