"Wings of Hope" Dove Dedication to Celebrate 5 Years of Specialized Care

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (December 16, 2011) - The House of Hope will celebrate its fifth anniversary at the "Wings of Hope" event on February 15, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. on the campus located at 5100 Stone Lake Drive, Wichita Falls, Texas.

The "Dedication of Doves" ceremony will involve individuals and family members whose lives have been touched by the work at House of Hope sometime during the past five years. Individuals are invited to dedicate paper doves in honor or in memory of someone special in their lives. The doves, each bearing an individual's name, will be placed "in flight" throughout the facility, suspended from the ceilings, and dedicated at the ceremony. The doves will be a beautiful and visual reminder that hope exists for everyone regardless of diagnosis or disability. Dedicated doves will remain on display for several days for residents and visitors to enjoy.

A brief program with Jimmy Oakley (CEO), Terry Walker (House of Hope Administrator) and Kay Yeager (Board of Directors President) presiding will recognize donors and long-time supporters.

Gifts donated as dove dedications will go to support the House of Hope Fund. House of Hope is a 501(c)3 non-profit facility, does not receive federal assistance and relies on the support of its donors. The House of Hope is the only specialized Alzheimer's and dementia facility in the North Texas area.

The event is open to the community. Open House and refreshments will follow.
