Thousands Come for Pancakes!

Nearly 12,000 Texomans made it out to the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast Saturday, making it a record breaking attendance.

Club members say there was enough batter to make 56,520 pancakes and enough sausage to cook 36,000 patties. Organizers began preparing for this months ago and woke up bright and early Saturday morning to feed everyone! This annual tradition dates back decades ago and it just keeps on getting better.

"They've really got it streamlined over the years. This is our 56th year. We got our batter station, the same guys do it every year," said Scott Ermis. All proceeds raised will go right back in to the local community.
