Texoma Man Sentenced, Accused Of Threatening Two People

A Texoma man was sentenced to prison on two counts of retaliation.

John Walter Raybon was accused of threatening two AT&T employees.

A jury in the 89th District Court convicted Raybon Wednesday for threatening to kill a retired Texas Ranger and the store manager.

Police say Raybon had an argument with AT&T over customer service issues.

Officials say Raybon repeatedly went to the store on Lawrence Road threatening lawsuits and trying to get the manager fired.

Police say he showed up at the store, January 28, 2011, with a loaded gun in his pocket.

Raybon was arrested for resisting arrest and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
