UPDATE: Three Suspects Post Bond In Clay County Homicide Case

Posted: Updated:

New information on the Clay County homicide investigation. Three suspects have posted bond.

Terri Green's bond was reduced from $250,000 to $100,000. Brittany Green's bond was reduced from $150,000 to $100,000. Stephanie Corral also posted bond. Justin Green remains behind bars on a $1 million bond.

Justin Green is charged with murder. His mother Terri Green, sister Brittany Green and her friend Stephanie Corral are all charged with two counts of tampering with evidence. The four are accused in the death of Jose Ramirez.

The investigation started when the Clay County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Rangers searched a property on FM 2332 about 5 miles south east of Petrolia. Deputies got a search warrant and collected evidence from the home. They found the remains of Ramirez in a shallow grave. Deputies say the man was killed at least five years ago.

His remains were discovered Wednesday, February 8th, southeast of Petrolia. Deputies found the victim's body in a shallow grave near the home.

Ramirez is from El-Centro, California. He was born January 6, 1983. He was a member of the U.S. Army and had been stationed at Fort Sill. Clay County Sheriff' Kenny Lemons said Fort Sill is where he met Justin.

Newschannel 6 has the affidavits filed against all four suspects. The affidavits state the murder suspect Justin Green called his mother Terri Green to go to the home to help clean up blood following the murder. Terri Green then called her daughter Brittany Green to help clean up.

The affidavit goes on to say Brittany Green then phoned a friend Stephanie Corral to get transportation and help clean the residence, which one source is quoted as describing it as a 'bloody mess.'

This is an on-going investigation. Stay with Newschannel 6 for the latest information.
