Henrietta Softball Edges Windthorst

Henrietta defeated Windthorst 2-1 Monday night in high school softball action.

Kayelyn Wheeler delivered a two-run home run in the third inning to supply all of the Lady Cats' runs.

Kaytlynn Flowers made that stand up with seven innings of four-hit ball, striking out eleven Trojanettes.

Kelsie Berend had two of the Windthorst hits, both doubles.

City View Beats Hirschi in Season Opener

City View doubled up Hirschi 8-4 in the season opener for both baseball teams Monday night.

Jarrett Rangel tripled and drove in two runs for the Mustangs, while Carlos Barron went 2/4 for the Huskies.
