Early Morning Accident Takes Out A Light Pole

A light pole is missing from Kemp Boulevard.

Police say 18-year-old Mason Hunter Stouard took out the light pole in an early morning accident in Wichita Falls.

It happened Tuesday morning on the 2500 block of Kemp Blvd.

Wichita Falls Police Stouard was distracted by his cell phone.

He was arrested for an outstanding warrant for a failure to stop at a designated stop sign.

The center lanes were blocked as Wichita Falls police cleared the scene of debris.

6 On The Scene said the accident was clear around 30 minutes later.
