#4 Greyhounds Breeze Past Gorman

The Throckmorton Greyhounds had no trouble with Gorman Thursday night, rolling to a 56-25 Area Round win at Buckaroo Gym in Breckenridge.

The #4 'Hounds (20-2) advance to the Region II-A Division II Quarterfinals, where they will face the winner of Woodson and #17 Lipan. The Cowboys and Indians square off Friday at 8:00 p.m. in Cisco.

The game was close early, with Throckmorton leading 10-5 after one quarter. But they dominated the second eight minutes, not allowing a field goal as they built a 26-8 lead at intermission.

Freshman Hayden Farquhar led the Greyhounds with 14 points, while his older brother Gary scored 12 and Tucker Brown had ten.
