Train To Be A Texas Master Naturalist

In order to volunteer as a Master Naturalist, applicants must complete the initial training which consists of several classroom sessions and field trips. All classes and trips are moderated by Rolling Plains chapter members and most are facilitated by faculty members of Midwestern State University's science department.

The next training will begin March 20, 2012, at Midwestern State University Bolin Science Hall, Room 209.

The cost for the training is $80, and includes a binder and all printed materials.

Classes usually meet twice each week from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays (there are some weekend field trips as well). An agenda can be viewed by clicking 2012 Spring Training Agenda.

To become a Texas Master Naturalist, please fill out an application and mail it to 409 Chester Avenue, Wichita Falls, TX 76301.
