Wichita County Emergency Court Operations

Wichita County Commissioners are working to put a system in place, that helps neighboring counties should disaster strike.
In a Regular Session Monday morning, commissioners are expected to authorize Wichita County Judge Woody Gossom to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Supreme Court of Texas.
The memorandum will then allow Wichita County to assist other Texoma counties should their court system be effected by an emergency situation.
The system was a result of hurricanes that struck the Texas Gulf Coast and disrupted county court operations there.
