Wichita Falls Celebrates St. Patrick's Day

The weather was perfect Saturday for the Wichita Falls St. Patrick's Day Festival. This annual event celebrates all things Irish. A variety of bands including traditional Irish music and rock could be heard downtown. This year's headliner was Los Lonely Boys. All the money raised from the event goes straight back into the community.

"It's all raising money for downtown development to help rebuild downtown and make it a better place," said Brian Walser with the Downtown Development Board. We want to bring people down here and show them what we've got already and maybe entice more people to come into town and open up new business." The festival lasted from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m.
