Cause Of A House Fire In Electra Under Investigation

A late night house fire, in Electra, is under investigation Wednesday morning.
Police Chief Johnny Morris said the fire happened on the 300 block of West Michigan Street a little after 11.

By the time crews arrived the house was already engulfed in flames.
Five fire trucks and almost 25 firefighters fought the flames.

Morris said the homeowners and their four dogs got out safely and no one was injured.
The house is a total loss.
