Zavala Hispanic Leadership Banquet

The Zavala Hispanic Cultural Initiative celebrated a decade of service to Wichita County and surrounding areas. Saturday evening the organization hosted the 2012 Hispanic Leadership Banquet at MSU. Local Hispanic students received scholarships from this event. Miguel Lechuga was recognized as the Wichita Falls Hispanic Person of the Year. Our own Newschannel 6/Telemundo reporter Natalie Garcia was the mistress of ceremonies.
