Texoma Man Dies From Motorcycle Accident

A Texoma father dies from a motorcycle accident, Monday, March 26.

Police said Thomas Reid Murphy, 45, was on his way to work, when he crashed his motorcycle. Police said he took a turn too sharply, ran off Highway 367, about a mile west of Loop 11, and hit a fence.

He was taken to United Regional where he was pronounced dead. Police said Murphy was not wearing a helmet.

His viewing is Wednesday, March 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Owens and Brumley. His funeral is Thursday, March 29, at 1 p.m. at Holliday Cemetery.
