Midwestern State junior Taylor Klutts was honored as the Lone Star Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance over the last week.
Klutts helped lead the Mustangs to a third-place finish at the Bluebonnet Classic at the Tangle Ridge Golf Course in Grand Prairie.
The Lake Kiowa junior who graduated from Callisburg placed second individually in the field of 72 golfers, touring the par 72, 5,875-yard course with a 5-over-par 149 with rounds of 74 and 75.
Klutts is ranked 76th nationally, and stands second on the squad with a 78.57 average for the season.
She is joined this week by Abilene Christian's Alex Carpenter, the men's golfer of the week.
The Mustangs are off until April 9-10 when they play in the Doc Housewright Invitational in Granbury.
