Car Hits Burk Child Bicyclist

A Burkburnett child is recovering after being hit by a car.

Burkburnett police said the eight year old was riding out of a driveway on his bicycle, yesterday evening on the 200 block of South Ave. B.

He pulled out in front of a driver when they collided.

Police said the accident injured one of the child's legs -- and he was taken to United Regional.

Authorities consider this an accident and say there will not be any charges filed.
