OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The wife of a former Oklahoma prison warden convicted of helping a convicted killer escape almost 18 years ago is to be discharged from prison.
Officials say 49-year-old Bobbi Parker will be released from Oklahoma City's Hillside Community Correctional Center Thursday after serving a little more than half of a one-year sentence.
Parker has been in custody since she was convicted Sept. 21 for helping Randolph Franklin Dial escape from the Oklahoma State Reformatory where her husband, Randy, was deputy warden.
Parker and Dial disappeared together from the Greer County prison on Aug. 30, 1994. They were discovered living together as man and wife on a chicken farm in East Texas in April 2005.
