Easter Egg Hunts

There are plenty of Easter festivities happening this weekend.

1) Colonial Church is hosting an egg drop Saturday at 10 a.m. More than 40,000 eggs will drop from a small helicopter. The church is located 4300 Maplewood Avenue. Children ages pre-k through 5th grade are welcome. 

2) Faith Baptist Church will host its own party. Their 3rd annual Community Egg Hunt will be Saturday at Ben Milam Elementary. The school is at 2901 Boren Avenue. This egg hunt also starts at 10 a.m. There will also be an egg toss, egg coloring and more for the entire family.

3) The MLK Center is hosting an egg hunt Saturday at 12 p.m. This one is for kids 12 and under only. The center is located 1100 Smith Street.
