Teens Accused Of High School Arson Attempt

Two Wichita Falls high school senior girls are accused of attempting to set their school on fire.

The Wichita Falls Fire Department answered a fire alarm call on March 28th, from the school. When they arrived, the principal told the crew they had two students, Holly Michelle Kasparek, 18, and Linda Lea Meyer, 17, in the office. They said they set a poster on fire.

The principal showed the fire marshal a video of the girls setting the fire. They were arrested that same day.

According to an affidavit, Meyer admitted to setting the fire while Kasparek attempted to block her from being seen.

Both teens are charged with arson.
