Free Health Fair Saturday

Wichita Falls, Texas- The Wichita Falls Wichita County Public Health District is hosting a FREE Health Fair, in association with National Public Health Week, Saturday, April 14th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Health District located at 1700 3rd Street.

This year's theme is A Healthier America Begins Today: Join the Movement, which highlights the importance of developing healthy habits now to reduce the nearly 1 million deaths annually due to preventable diseases.

This year's fair features: Blood Pressure and Glucose Checks, Cholesterol Screening, Body Fat Testing, Immunizations, HIV Testing, Animal/Pet Safety, WIC education and plenty of fun activities for the kids.

Weather permitting; there will be additional information and entertainment available outside including a bicycle rodeo and various interactive displays presented by other agencies associated with health, wellness, emergency preparedness and first responding.
