Texas Army Ranger Killed In Afghanistan

An Army Ranger with ties to Texoma has died in an enemy attack in Afghanistan fighting for our freedom.
The Pentagon says Sgt. Tanner S. Higgins was killed this weekend when his unit came under enemy small-arms fire.
Higgins was assigned to Hunter Army Airfield in Fort Stewart, GA.
Cousins of Higgins told Newschannel 6 the 23-year-old was a godly man, and a wonderful husband, with true integrity.
They add our nation has suffered a great loss.
No doubt this Hero, will be missed.
Higgins lived in Yantis, Texas, that's just south of Sulfur Springs.
