Pioneer Woman In Wichita Falls

A food celebrity was in Wichita Falls Friday. Ree Drummond, also known as the Pioneer Woman, was made famous through her award-winning blog, number one best selling cookbook and now Food Network TV show.

Drummond was at the Wichita Falls Country Club as the guest speaker for a Christ Academy fundraiser luncheon. She shared her story of going from a city girl, to an Oklahoma rancher's wife and all the hiccups along the way.

Tickets for 'Lunch with Pioneer Woman' went for $45 per person, which is going to be a big help to Christ Academy because the event was sold out.
