MSU Softball to Face Tarleton in LSC Quarters - Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

MSU Softball to Face Tarleton in LSC Quarters

Midwestern State softball finished as the sixth seed in the Lone Star Conference, and will face third-seeded Tarleton State in the LSC Tournament quarterfinals.

That game will be the first of the day, Friday at 11:30 a.m. at TWU's Pioneer Field in Denton, Texas.

The winner of that game will face the winner of Texas Woman's and Incarnate Word in Saturday's semifinals, with first pitch of that game set for noon.

If MSU advances to the Tournament finals, they would play again Saturday night at 6:00 p.m.

MSU swept then-LSC leader Tarleton April 6-7 at Mustangs Park, winning 5-3 on Friday afternoon, then 7-6 and 6-5 on Saturday to knock the TexAnns out of first.
