The Pregnancy Help Center with locations in Wichita Falls and Vernon will be sponsoring the 11th Annual "Walk For Life" on Saturday, May 12th at 10 a.m. Registration & free continental breakfast begin at 9 a.m.
In Wichita Falls, the Walk will be held at the Lucy Park Pavilion No. 1, and in Vernon, at the Calvary Baptist Family Life Center.
This year they are looking forward to increasing the number of teams and continuing to make it a fun team-oriented event involving hundreds of people made up of local families, youth, churches, and businesspersons. As they celebrate being able to expand services and programs at the new location at 4011 Seymour Hwy., they are enthusiastically preparing for a " fantastic, family-friendly" walk to raise needed funds.
The first 300 registered walkers will receive the 2012 "Embrace Destiny" T-shirts. There will be many Free Fun Family Events "open to the public" that include the Happy Hopper, Face Painting, Balloon Sculptures, the band "Anchored" a music ministry of Anchor Baptist Church, and super surprises.
In addition, there will be drawings for great gifts that day for all participants--children and adults. The PHC will also have fabulous prize drawings and awards at the appreciation BBQ on June 4thfor Team Captains, Teams, and Sponsored Walkers who raise as a team $1,000 or more and $200 or more as a sponsored walker.

- Option consultations by a volunteer
- "Just One Mom To Another" and "Mom's Hang Time" Parenting Classes
- Pre-Natal Classes
- "Dad's Boot Camp" for expectant fathers
