Three More Coyotes To College

A trio of WFHS Coyotes soccer seniors have signed national letters of intent to play at the next level.

Mason Wright and Jose Lugo will join Jared Martinez and Carlos Hernandez, who signed Tuesday, at Neosho County Community College in Kansas.

Juan Carlos Rodriguez will packs his bags for Ranger College, another place with Texoma ties. Three former Coyotes will be sophomores next season.

    The Wichita Falls Nighthawks will not play in 2018, owner Drew Carnes told Newschannel 6 on Monday. In an exclusive interview with Sports Director Adam Ostrow, Carnes said that, due to a legal challenge from the team's former league, the IFL, they will not be able to play this coming season.
