Kell House Tea Party - KAUZ-TV: Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

Kell House Tea Party

Since the early 18th century, Afternoon Tea has been the social event, an opportunity for society ladies to exchange pleasantries over gourmet tidbits and the ever important tea.  The Kell House invites you to share in this history and enjoy tea in their gardens.

Saturday, May 12 from 3-5 p.m. you can enjoy your choice of finger sandwiches, assorted delectable desserts and a variety of both hot and iced tea.  Stroll back through time with a tour of the Kell House Museum.  Take a chance with a raffle of a Coach hand bag donated by Dillard's.  Show off your hat at the 4 p.m. Hat Extravaganza.  Prizes will be given in four categories:  Most Vintage, Most Humorous, Most Unforgettable and Children's Most Unique.

With tables graciously sponsored by Burger King and Willen Electric, Kell House's Garden Tea will be served by local celebrity waiters.  Tickets are $20 per adult and $10 per child (12 years old and under), or reserve a table for your group of 8 for $150.  A table decorating competition is available for those who sponsor or reserve a table.  Call the Kell House for more information and to make reservations at (940) 723-2712.
