Wichita Falls High School's annual Red-Black spring football game started out sloppily, but eventually the offenses woke up in a 23-21 win for the Red team.
There were several missed snaps and fumbles in the first quarter as Red built a 14-0 lead on two short touchdown runs by D'AshuJuan Hickerson.
But the Black team answered back with a touchdown late in the first quarter and added a two-point conversion to make it 14-8 after one.
The Black scored again in the second quarter and again converted the two-pointer to take a 16-14 lead.
The teams traded touchdowns after that for the final margin.
