Rider's Drake Szczepinski and Christian Okeke were named All-State in Class 4A by the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches this week.

Szczepinski set a new state record with 25 shutouts this season, while Okeke scored 38 goals as a junior, in his first year of high school soccer.

Both were also named to the All-Region I-4A first team, along with teammate Colton Kowalick.

Rider's Ruben Flores was named second-team All-Region, along with Wichita Falls High School's Jared Martinez and Jose Lugo.

On the girls' side, WFHS led the way on the All-Region team.

Missouri signee Loudell Crumpler was named to the first team, while new Angelo State signee Sierra Anderson was on the second team.

Also on the second team were District 9-4A's co-defensive players of the year, Old High's Victoria Franco and Rider's Libby Lemley.
