Wichita Falls Firefighters are holding up their boots to help fight muscular dystrophy. Firefighters are having their annual Fill The Boot campaign to raise money. Wichita Falls Firefighters are hoping to raise more than $56,000. This year's campaign is being done in memory of Kelly Crush. Crush was a former firefighter who died recently from Lou Gehrig's disease. Officials with the Wichita Falls Muscular Dystrophy Red River Chapter said all the money raised will stay local.
The Texoma MDA Chapter currently helps nearly 400 patients diagnosed with some form of MD. Wichita Falls Firefighters will be out around town Saturday from 9 to 6 PM.
