Hearing Scheduled In Shawnee In Child Porn Case

SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) - A preliminary hearing is scheduled for a former McLoud third-grade teacher and a retired Pennsylvania college professor in Pottawatomie County District Court in Shawnee on child pornography charges.

Officials say the hearing Monday will determine whether former teacher Kimberly Ann Crain and former professor Gary Doby are bound over for trial on the charges.

Both have pleaded not guilty and are each being held on $1 million bond.

Crain faces felony counts that include manufacturing juvenile pornography, aggravated possession of juvenile pornography and lewd molestation. Doby faces charges of manufacturing juvenile pornography and one count of conspiracy to manufacture juvenile pornography.

Prosecutors allege Crain took pornographic photographs of young girls in her classroom and her home and shared them with Doby.
