Archer City had to practice on Windthorst's football field after rains Tuesday night Archer City had to practice on Windthorst's football field after rains Tuesday night

The Archer City Wildcat baseball team will face Dodd City for the Region II-A Championship at Lewisville High School.

Game one will be Thursday night at 7:00 p.m., an hour later than scheduled. The change is due to lingering rain in the Lewisville area.

Game two will be Friday 6:00 p.m., with a Game three to follow 30 minutes later, if necessary.

Dodd City has eliminated the Wildcats the past two post-seasons.

In 2010 they met in the Bi-District round and in 2011 they met in the Regional Semifinals.

The Hornets took both series in three games, with Archer City winning Game two in both.

Because of Tuesday night's rain, Archer City had to practice Wednesday morning at Windthorst's football stadium, fighting strong wind gusts in the process.
