NT Falcons Advance To Championship Game

The North Texas Falcons fought back from a 14-point deficit to advance to the Texas United Football League championship game for the first time since 2007.

The Vernon Texans scored two touchdowns and dominated the first half of play. The Falcons converted a field goal prior to the half, then scored 20 unanswered points on the way to a 23-20 win.

The Falcons advance to face the North Texas Longhorns, the top team in the league, in the TUFL championship game. The Longhorns are the only unbeaten team in the league at 12-0.

Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. next Saturday at John Clark Stadium in Plano.
