Wichita Falls Man Accused Of Terroristic Threat

A Wichita Falls man is behind bars, accused of making a terroristic threat.

Lieutenant Larry Papenthien said he responded to a call on 600 Scott, Monday, just after 1 p.m. He said when he arrived, a witness claimed John Alan Reed, 47, threatened to get a gun and shoot up the social security office.

Criminal Investigation Division members later found Reed on the 3100 block of Manchester, where he was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and charged with Retaliation. He's being held on a $25,000 bond.
