Texas county musician, Granger Smith, made a stop at the Newschannel 6 studios Thursday. He is scheduled to play Thursday night at Denim & Diamonds in Wichita Falls.
Based out of Austin, TX, the singer/songwriter is an adept presence both on stage and through the speakers, and with his continued rise in popularity he is sure to be a household name in country music. "Sleeping On The Interstate" was the first single from Smith's most recent album, Poets & Prisoners, and landed in the Top Ten on the Texas Music Chart. Granger's influence goes far beyond music. Teaming up with the Boot Campaign, Smith just wrapped up the Second Annual Boot Walk to show support and gratitude for our military men and women by walking 100 miles in combat boots from South Austin to the Ft. Hood military post in Killeen. The Walk was a huge success and resonated with both fans and media outlets.
