Cash, Heroin & Other Drugs Found In Home

Wichita Falls police found a medley of drugs during a Friday morning bust.

The Wichita Falls Police Department Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant on the 1600 block of 22nd St. Officers seized about $1,000 in cash along with 14 grams of heroin, 4 ounces of marijuana and 0.2 grams of meth. They also seized scales, packaging and surveillance equipment.

Officers arrested Jose Antonio Ruiz, 41. He's charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (a State Jail Felony) and Manufacture and Delivery of over 4 grams heroin (a 1st degree felony.)

Ruiz was also served with the following outstanding delivery warrants:

  • Man/Del C/S, PG1 under 1 gram (heroin) drug free zone - $50,000 bond
  • Man/Del C/S, PG1 over 1 gram (heroin) - $200,000 bond
  • Man/Del C/S, PG1 over 1 gram (heroin) - $200,000 bond
  • Man/Del C/S, PG1 under 1 gram (heroin) - $50,000 bond
