Wichita Falls Teen Shooting

WICHITA FALLS - Wichita Falls police are searching for two gunmen who shot two teens and wounded four others.

United Regional called police Saturday night, around 11:30, and said two black males were shot on Bailey Ave.

Victims said the shooters pulled up to the intersection of Bailey Ave. and Juarez St. in a black KIA and opened fire at their car. Ten shots were fired, shattering the vehicle's windows and hitting a 19 and 17-year-old in the front seat. The four passengers in the backseat were cut up from the shards of glass.

The 19-year-old driver sped off to the 1200 block of Smith St. where he dropped off the injured passengers. He then drove himself and the 17-year-old, who was shot in the ribs, to United Regional.

Officers said they couldn't find evidence of the shooting at Bailey Ave. and Juarez St. They did, however, find glass and blood at the Smith St. residence where they talked to the four passengers. Those four were later taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Police are calling this aggravated assault. They're still on the look out for the shooting suspects.

If you have any information you are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at (940) 322-9888.
